Housekeeping

Housekeeping plays a critical role in hotel operation and respomsible for following



  • Schedule all periodical cleaning hotel.
  • Clean guest room.
  • Stock in-room amenities.
  • Stock in-room mini bar.
  • Clean public and back of hotel area.
  • Handle Laundry and dry cleaning services (unless outsourced).
  • Handle Employee uniform.
  • Handle all hotel linen.
  • Handle other departement linens ( F&B and banqueting unless outsourced).
  • Inspect the cleanliness and maintenance of all Front and Back of Hotel area 
Because employees of the Housekeeping department may at times be in contact with Hotel guest, they should have strong customer service skill. In addition, an acute attention to detail and ability to work quickly and efficiently is required at all levels.


Job Description:


  • Room Attendant
Room Attendant function is vital to the guest experience as room cleanliness is an essential requirement of guest. while this function is primarily carried out in the morning time, the Housekeeping department must be available to provide service 24 hours a day as necessary.

In addition to cleaning rooms and stocking supplies and amenities, Room Attendant and Mini Bar Attendant must be able to expedite their task carefully and efficiently with great respect when dealing with occupied and vacant rooms


  • Public Area Attendant
PA attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all Hotel public area except for the kitchen and non-hotel managed facilities (outsourcing SPA etc), Due to the nature of the Hotel, PA Attendant cleaning is carried out regularly, following a rotational schedule and should be on-call for clean up emergencies around Hotel Area.


  • Linen/Laundry Attendant
Linen/Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining, cleaning, pressing and organising linens for the Hotel guestroom's and other facilities. in addition, it is responsible for handling guest laundry and dry cleaning, as well as the laundering and maintenance of employee uniforms.
